“ We walked in on a Wednesday night and were able to get a table without reservation. Dinner was very nice: we ordered sea bass and a burger trio. For dessert grilled pineapple and a Scottish coffee. There was a nice vibe in the restaurant. Crew was thoughtful and pleasant. Would certainly come here again. ”
“ Stayed here as an overnight prior to catching the Skye ferry. Staff were very friendly on check-in and in the bar, but didn't seem very happy at breakfast. (Breakfast start time previously advertised as 7.30 but now inconveniently 8.00.). Food in the bar area was good and this area, plus the restaurant, were very busy. Room was functional - pretty much as expected and reasonable value for the price in this part of Scotland. ”
“ Visited a few weeks ago with two friends for lunch. I wanted scallops but didn't fancy the description on the Specials Board. The chef came out to speak with us and offered to prepare them differently. They were delicious. My two friends both had a fish dish and were equally impressed. A nice beer garden setting, quality food and excellent customer service. ”
“ Had a great meal here. Wasn't expecting much as it was very quiet while the restaurant across the road was booked out. But I can tell you the quality was excellent and the serving staff were efficient and friendly. The onion rings in the place were awesome proper big home made rings. Delicious. Everybody enjoyed their meal. Steak, pizza, chicken all fantastic and the portions were very generous. One return here without doubt. All I would say is the lighting was very bright could do with toning down a bit to improve the atmosphere but this is just not picking. ”
“ Parked in my motor home on harbour front. Popped into town and found this bar. 5pm Sunday evening and just me and the barman present!! What a lovely guy. Local and informative. Beer excellent. Bought fish and chips for my wife take away. Read some reviews earlier. Their wrong!! The food was excellent, well cooked and the batter brill. Wished I could have stayed longer but take away had to be delivered! . Bar man an asset to the pub. ”
